We throw away rubbish, not life.

A newborn baby was found in the trash bin of an airplane's lavatory.

Baby found in plane's trash bag (Inquirer)
Unwanted baby won't be wanting of a loving mother (Inquirer)

He was named George Francis, and by grace of God, he is now living.
But without a mother.

I want to condemn the mother who threw away her son.
What would be her reasons?
But the sad reality that the world is now placing a very low value on human life transcends the incident. It is an affirmation of what we have become.
Abortion. Death penalty. Murder.

God created the world, and breathed His air for us.
His air. Not ours.

I Hope

I stumbled upon a link to a HuffPost article over Facebook; read on...

The Philippine Bus and Miss Universe (Daniel Wagner)

Have we, Filipinos, really lost hope?
Maybe. Maybe for some. Maybe for the majority.
But one thing's for sure, I haven't.

A friend once told me: "What would it take to prove the existence or non-existence of fairy-tale love? A million broken hearts? Or just one successful real-life story?"

Sans the fairytale and mushy love, this is aptly a question for all of us.
Nay, a challenge.

One's opinion is not absolute reality.

Daniel Wagner might have seen something in us.
We could prove otherwise.

My Day's Wisdom # 3

"Never go on the offense.
Always on the defense.
But never use feelings.
Be defensive through reason."
